After School Programs

The St. Martin Schools Magnet Program offers both after care and after school club options at each of the Magnet Academies. Both are free, include a snack, and offer free door-to-door transportation each day the program is offered. 

After Care: This program offers structured homework help and academic tutoring in a supervised environment. It's designed to support students in completing assignments and strengthening core subjects. Available daily after school from August 18, 2025 - May 21, 2026 from 3:15pm-5:30pm.

Clubs: These are enrichment programs focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). Clubs include a variety of hands-on, interest-based activities that foster creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. Available after school on Mondays & Tuesdays, (and Wednesdays & Thursdays at Saint Martin STEAM Academy) from Sept. 2, 2025 - March 31, 2026 from 3:15pm-5:30pm. 

Below are the current after school club options. Options below may change at any time.

  • Tynker: This coding program is perfect for beginners. It provides instruction in icon, block-based, text-assisted and text-based coding in  multiple coding languages  offers access to data science, art and digital image processing. It increases problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • DREAM: Visual arts, music, dance & drama - all in one after-school program! Taught in partnership  between teachers and artists in residence at each school offering unique art-infused programming.
  • Culinary: Where food, fun and flavor come together as students learn to cook and create in the kitchen! Grab your chef's hat and stir up some fun! Students will learn to cook, bake, and create tasty treats - from sweet to savory - all while having a deliciously good time!
  • e-Sports: A competitive and collaborative club where students develop teamwork, strategy, and communication skills through organized video gaming and tournaments. Esports Club is all about fun, friendship, and fast reflexes - playing together, learning new skills, and cheering each other on in every match!
  • Pep Squad: Where big energy meets big ideas! Pep Squad is all about fun, friendship, and school spirit - cheering each other on, lifting others up, and making every day a little brighter. An energetic club that promotes school spirit through cheers, chants, and teamwork at school events and activities.
  • Podcast: Where curiosity meets conversation. Go beyond the talk and discover what makes a podcast truly great - from technical craft to journalistic depth. A creative space where students learn to plan, record, and produce podcasts while building skills in storytelling, interviewing and audio editing.
  • Odyssey of the Mind: An international creative program that allows students' ideas to come to life.
  • Environmental: Learn how to serve your community by enhancing leadership skills and raising awareness about environmental issues while reducing your environmental impact as citizens of the world.
  • Science Olympiad: This international program encourages deepened learning in scientific concepts while encouraging students' interest in science. Harnesses the power of collaborative learning and encourages critical thinking skills!
